Everything you need to set up and make the most of the NRL Workshop app — before and during the event.
The app is called The Event App by EventsAir. Find it on your device's app store or use the web version.

Still having trouble logging in? Email us at nrlworkshop@nrlquality.org.au.
For quick access during the event, add the app icon to your device's home screen. On iOS, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap the menu and select Add to Home Screen.
Here's what you can do inside the app once you're logged in. Please note: the agenda currently in the app is preliminary and not yet finalised, so session times and content may still change ahead of the workshop.
Browse all sessions and times. Tap any session for full details, and star sessions to build your own personalised schedule under Personal Agenda.
Your networking centre. Search attendees by first name to connect and start chatting in real time.
Tap any speaker or sponsor profile to view bios, contact information, and company details.
Download session materials and abstracts directly to your device for offline viewing — useful if connectivity is poor.
Use the app's built-in scanner at the event to quickly exchange contact details with other attendees — no typing needed.
Once connected with another attendee in Meeting Hub, send them a message to start a live chat directly in the app.
Use the person icon in the top left-hand corner for quick connect. Show your barcode to someone, or scan their code to connect instantly.
A few things to keep in mind once the workshop begins.
When you first open the app, allow notifications. These deliver real-time agenda updates and announcements. Note: notifications only work on the native app, not the web version.
Open the app multiple times throughout the day — session changes, new messages, and announcements are updated in real time.
Many features work without an internet connection, so you can still view your agenda, session details, and saved contacts even in low-connectivity areas.
We strongly recommend setting up the app before the workshop begins so you can familiarise yourself with its features and hit the ground running on day one.
Our team is available on site and via email throughout the workshop.
Find NRL staff members Hailey Galpin, Dhru Xiros, or Eda Sahin at the venue for hands-on assistance.
You can also reach the team via the attendee app's messaging feature, or by email at nrlworkshop@nrlquality.org.au
Notifications not working? Check your device's notification settings and ensure you downloaded the native app rather than the web version.
